My complaint:

At proximately 19:15 on 3rd July I placed an order through Amazon for a KFC meal. The website advised a delivery time between 17:30 17:45.
At 17:30 I went to reception (address is a hotel) and waited there for the delivery – speaking with the manager while I was there.
At 17:46 I went back to my room to check on the tracker and was amazed to see the delivery had been made. I then tried to call Customer Services but they were closed.
The order detail showed that the driver tried to contact me at 17:36 and that he got no response. he then stayed for 10 minutes and gave up.
I then started a livechat with Deliveroo and was told I was not entitled to a refund.
I have both a witness that I was available (hotel manager and at least 6 guests who saw me in reception), a screenshot of my recent calls (attached) plus the compete dialogue with the livechat.
I would therefore like Deliveroo to compensate me for the nondelivered food, the fact I had to have crisps for my dinner that evening and the rather insulting suggestions that I do not know how this system works.
Deliveroo have successfully deliver to me, at the same address twice already with success – I don’t understand why this time it was different.

Compensation for the cost of the food and inconvenience caused by not having an adequate meal on the 3rd.
