My complaint:
I booked a one night stay for 6/10/23 at a Days Inn in Commerce Ga. I am disabled and on the morning of 6/10/23, I had problems with my medical equipment, so I called the Days Inn and explained my problem to the receptionist. I asked her if there was anyway I could get a refund. She put me on hold for a brief time and when she came back I was told the Manager said a refund wouldn’t be a problem. I have not received a refund and I have spoken to Manager many times over the last two weeks. The problem is that I booked through a third party website called Super Travel.
The manager told me that she refunded $131.67 on 6/10/23 back to Super Travel and that I would need to deal with them. So I tried, but I didn’t have any proof that she sent the refund. I disputed the charge on my discover card and I was given a temporary credit, but two days later the charge was posted back to my account. I called Discover and the representative told me that they couldn’t help me, unless I could obtain proof from the Days Inn Manager showing that $131.67 had been refunded for Tammy Howard to Super Travel. The representative told me that the Days Inn manager had to have some type of documentation showing she has issued this refund.
Well, I spoke with (Manager) on 7/5/23 and I told her exactly what the Discover card representative told me. She was nice in the beginning of our conversation, but she ended up being very rude and telling me that she didn’t have to provide anything to me. I know $131.67 isn’t a lot of money to some people, but when you’re on a fixed income, it means a lot. Why are people so disrespectful to others? I couldn’t ever be that disrespectful to anyone. I know we still have good people in this world and I pray this complaint reaches someone that can help me. I just need proof from Days Inn showing that a refund of $131.67 was made to Super Travel.

Please provide proof that a refund of $131.67 was made to Super Travel for Tammy Howard, so I can receive a credit on my Discover card.
