On January 5th, 2023 at approximately 12:00pm to 12:20 pm , I was riding East bound down oakland park blvd on the side walk on my way to a friends house when i began to past the exiting of the parking lot of the days inn (1595 W, oakland park blvd ) when a F150 pickup truck struck me while i was crossing the pedestrian path on my scooter as it was exiting quickly.
I tried to get help from the staff inside the hotel cause my phone sceen was shattered by the incident and they denied me help when i explained to them i had just been struck and hurt in their parking lot by the f150 truck they told me to call them myself and didnt even seem to care about my concern because i didnt appear hurt to them visually and i explained to them that my phone got scattered but i was hurt and needed the police and ambulance to come to the hotel to help me. They told me that the policy of the hotel didnt allow them to call the police for me. I had to leave out of the office to find help in calling the police so i knocked on someones door the staff ran out telling me i couldnt do that i looked and seen a freshly completed room that the door was open and went to use the phone on the desk hurt and let down by the staff who allowed me only more pain as i went to pick up the phoneto call for the cops the guy from the hotel screamed out loud he was recording me and it was trespassing and jumped over the bed snatching the phone out of my hand
a female that was working asked what was going on and i told her i really needed the police and i was hurt she instructed me to come with her and she called them herself for me asking me to stay by the bus stop area out front i am writing a complaint to the attorney general office about the incident and will seek some type of mediation in this matter and i will give my review on social media because the actions your staff took was wrong and because the recording of the accident was not able to bve found i believe there was some tampering witrh evidence or something foul and i will see it was looked into.
the driver that hit me i was able to identify for your business protection i ask that you check into this situation as soon as you can

By investigating the matter and explaining why the video of what took place isnt available or producing the video for my attorney and for police records - However you choose to deal with tge staff that seemed to have acted in a aid to the crime and denying me a phone call to police help and for my right to life by not allowing them selfs to dial emergency services when i begged them to call i needed ambulance is totally up on how you want to deal w Your staff but remember it reflects on you. I thought the concern for the safety of your clients and guest was a main supported priority but in this incident any trust in this facility is not found as invalidated as my health , Safety, Right to life
