My complaint:
We purchased several items from City Furniture in July 2023. When they delivered in October, the headboard from the bedroom set was missing. We only allowed their partial delivery because they said the headboard would be delivered the following week. Then it became the following month, then the following YEAR. We insisted they take the entire bedroom set back, useless without a headboard. They finally agreed but will now not give us back all the money. The sent a hand-written reconciliation that said $289 adjustment. Additionally, a cabinet that we kept, costing $748 with tax, they now claim they are charging $778. I’ll assume they are adding a delivery charge, which did not exist before. So $30 on the upcharge of the cabinet, and $289 ADJUSTMENT. They are not reputable, and refusing to refund our money.
Suggested solution:
They owe us $318 and that is what we expect.
