My complaint:
On Friday September 29th, 2023 at approximately 5:15pm I went into the location listed above grabbed 1 bag of chips and one thirst buster. I stood in line at the register for a while until the cashier (Hispanic dark hair individual) came behind the register and said “there’s a self checkout take your stuff there” I stated, “I need to get powerball from you” her demeanor changed, her faced looked disgusted and sighed very loudly as she walked over to the powerball section stating “bring your stuff over here” meaning to the self checkout
I grabbed my stuff and moved them to the self checkout and told her “I want $50 in powerball” she didn’t acknowledge or made any type of contact with me at all. She grabbed the tickets and said moved your stuff back over there (meaning the register I was previously at). I stated that why I was there in the first place because I can’t self checkout powerball tickets. She immediately went off and started yelling “I’m just myself and get the fuck out of my store if you don’t like it” I stated, what are you giving me attitude what is wrong with you”. She continued to yell “get the fuck out of my store right now, bye, have a good day, get out”. I told her “I’ll leave after I get my shit” and pointed to the powerball tickets in her hand” she stated, “you’re not getting these get the fuck out of my store” and refused to sell me my powerball. I started walking away and yelling back at her and told her how it looked like she just hated her job so much and she got more and more angry and stated “get out of my store before I fuck you up” I walked out to avoid it getting bigger. She seemed like an individual who could possibly be going through withdrawals or someone under really high stress levels and took it out on me for the inconvenience of wanting to buy powerball and not self checking out to make her job easier. I don’t mind checking myself out but it’s not possible to get your own powerball tickets.
I hope something is done about this soon or legal actions about the threats will be taken. The 2 gentlemen that were behind me in line work for me and were my witnesses.
