My complaint:
Circle K first off thanks for your store. I ship there about once every few days. There are like 10 in a 5 – 10 mile radius of my home. An African American female, 40 – 50, jet black hue, short, and small frame yelled at me for not telling her what type of card when I was swiping the card. I told her that no other stores or people at this store have asked for payment type. She told me that those are here rules. All other Circle K and the night (younger) shift and manager of the Circle K in question don’t ask form of payment.
I usually hand them cash or swipe my card. In a nut shell, I understand that employees can ask whatever they want but they don’t have to hound me about when no one else does that except these pardon me for saying, middle age women of color as I am middle age as well, 49. There is another lady at the same store, same characteristics but brown and 50 – 60’s who always work the store in question weekday mornings.She does it too but she ignores my non response to her card type inquiry.
Please tell the employee not to yell or pester me when I am making my purchase.
Suggested solution:
Tell the workers, if he does not say debit, credit, and hasn\'t handed you money, but us swiping move forward with the transaction like all other Circle K makes, young, non African American.
