We submitted a claim for our garage refrigerator on 122021. Choice assigned Menlove Appliance on 122121. The repairman came on 122221 and determined the compressor had failed. We lost hundreds of dollars of meat in the freezer portion of the refrigerator. After waiting two weeks for a determination of our claim we received an email today saying that our claim was not going to be honored because “It has been determined the compressor for the garage refrigerator has failed and requires replacement. This unit has not entered the policy in proper working order and is not working properly due to pre-existing conditions. Please submit proof of current repairs being completed for future coverage to…”. After reading other reviews we realize that this company has a history of this kind of response to customers submitting claims.
They need to fix the refrigerator OR refund what we paid them for our three year warranty and we will try to find an honest, reliable home warranty company.
