Choice Home Warranty complaint: Failure of Contractor to honor appointment day and time

My complaint:

two days ago the contractor set an appointment for today to repair my appliance. I took off work to be here for the appointment. This morning two hours before the appointment, I received a call from the contractor saying that they had made a scheduling error and my appointment was being rescheduled to Monday of next week. I now have to take off another day to be here for the technician. Had the contractor called me yesterday to inform me of the scheduling error and the need to reschedule my appointment then I wouldn’t have taken off today for no reason and could have just taken off on Monday. Now I have used two vacation days to accommodate a technician who may not come on Monday!!!

And when I called Choice Warranty to file a complaint via the phone I spoke with Shaun at approximately 1:30 central time rather than file my complaint he appeared disinterested and HUNG UP ON ME!!!! They say the calls are monitored and recorded. I hope my call with Shaun was recorded.

Suggested solution:

Today is Thursday the original date for my appointment. Now I have to wait until Monday which means my appliance will not be in use over the weekend because of their scheduling error.

I think the contractor should make whatever arrangements necessary to repair my appliance on Friday rather than making me wait until Monday.
