My complaint:

I called cash app because I was unable to withdraw money from the atm and I was told to download an app to access my information and was told my account had a hold for Id verification and I need to remove my information from my cash app account and link a new bank to the account.i realized something was not making sense I immediately added my account number and personal information back to the account in question.but realized all my transactions and money was gone talked to Gabriel who assured me My money will be on a new card with the same routing number but different account number by Tuesday but the new card arrives and I can’t even activate it,it shows the same routing number but different account number. But still no funds. I again contacted cash support and finally got a response from the same individual but now he pretends he doesn’t remember any of this and says he can merge all my accounts in one to retrieve information from the account in question but he says he can’t access the account anymore but I can continue to use cash app with the new cash app card and account provide. Even after I have given routing number and account number to the account that money was fraudulent taken out of. I have also a merchant that deposited money on to the old account and was paid but the money still isn’t on the old card nor the replacement card cash app is a scam and a fraud I will never use it again I’ve contacted the local authorities to get to the bottom of this
