My complaint:

My phone was stolen and my cashapp was compromised.There were 3 unauthorized transactions of 600, 475 and 50.00. As soon as I realized what happened I immediately reached out to my bank and cashapp. I sent proof of my phone claim to show my phone was stolen and cashapp sent back an email stating to answer some questions and they will do an investigation, today i received an email stating to request a refund from the person because cashapp can not refund a completed transaction. When I did this of course they denied the refund because they stole my money and my phone. Now cashapp is stating there is nothing they can do when clearly I have sent all info they need to show these were unauthorized transactions. I am going to file a complaint everywhere I possibly can until Cashapp has something in place to be able to refund money when someones account is compromised

Whose phone are you using to email Cash App? o.o

Anyways, your bank should have refunded you immediately. Cash App asks for more evidence to make it look like they’re going to do something about it, but they usually never do and say they can’t provide a refund. SMDH…
