My complaint:

I made a transaction to someone which was the wrong person and I immediately contact customer service to help cancel the transaction because the person did not accept or receive the money yet, I was msg back given direction on how to get the money refunded back to me but it did nothing for me. Days go by and I’m still trying to get in contact with cash app customer service and now they tell me my request was cancelled do to me not responding… What???? I have it on record that I constantly contact them for help but kept giving me run around which is frustrating, why can’t cash app have a system for us to get our money back immediately if it’s sent to the wrong person? It’s so unfair that I lost out on $200 to someone that I don’t even know and it’s a slap in the face because it’s my hard earned money given away for a total stranger to have for free so now I’m lost out of money that was supposed to be used on my bills and it’s not like this is a time where I have money to throw away like that especially during the pandemic and I’m on a fixed income, everyone else’s company on or off the internet has some type of accomodations for cov-19, what is CASH APPS APPROACH??? the only thing that’s coming out their email is I have to take care of this matter outside of cash app…. How??! How can I do that when this happened in the actual cash app! I wish I did have the option to take care of it outside of the app but where do I find this person? Who or where can I get the information on the person that declined my request for refund of my $200 dollars because she doesn’t care about my situation all she sees it as is a snooze you loose type of deal. I am very frustrated about this and I’m not giving up until I get this resolved because just like any human being that really stretches the little money they have to survive , it’s unfair that just that easy someone can take it whether you like it or not . Cash app has to fix this issue because it’s not right to be treated that way, I know there is some way for cash app to help customers in situations as such I’m pretty sure they got other things they can tell us besides sorry you would have to take care of this outside the app.

Suggested solution:

They should lock that persons account and retrieve the money the person wrongfully took when I wrote her in the app stating it was a mistake please refund this transaction, she blocked me and denied my request and everyday I reach out to cash app customer service it's like they don't even care which is wrong for them to not try and do whatever it takes to get customers their money returned. This is unfair and it's wrong on every level
