My complaint:
I got scammed with a fake email from pay pal . So I sold a phone for 800 on offer up but used pay pal instead for the payment .So the person supposedly sent me the 800 through pay pal Then I got an email saying that I have to send shipping and receipt Información to the email and I did it got approved. So until the buyer received the item I will get my 800. I got another email saying my account has a temporary payment limitation. In other to solve this the buyer has to send me an additional 500 to lift the limitations on my account and I had to refund the buyer with my own money to get the 800 and the 500 in my account I didn’t have the 500 so I sent only 200 to cash app to the person and then sent a screenshot as proof of the payment he said he would try and get my limitations lifted and I never received the payment and got scammed for 200 on cash app the reason that I sold the phone was to fix my car because it got totaled and I didn’t have insurance so I have to pay for all damages
Suggested solution:
Refund my 200 from cash App and get payment for the 800 phone i sold from pay pal
