My complaint:
I feel like I was being scammed by someone who answered a call about cash app. My phone is broken and I tried to get onto my cash app, but since I’m not good with technology I couldn’t figure out how to do so. I called a number I found online. They helped me, but they wanted me to send money, or put money into my cash app. I felt very uneasy about that. They had informed me that my cash app had been hacked and used by other people. It was very alarming to hear. I don’t know what to believe or think. I am figuring that I am best to just walk away and never use cash app ever again and have my bank block them. I am not sure of just what to do.
Suggested solution:
Find out if I was actually talking to real cash app employees or if I was being scammed. I'd love for them to close out my cash app. If I have any money to maybe send it to my bank.
It was scammers indeed.
Cash App has only one telephone number, but it’s a bot. Not a live human representative like these scammers are pulling…
