My complaint:
I had $500 taken from my bank account via Cash App. I did not create, approval of the withdrawal. I have unsuccessful tried to resolved this issue. I went to cash.apphelp and there was no way to resolve the issue. Additionally, I called 855.351.2274 and there was not a representative to speak with. The directions were given to go to cash.apphelp.
Suggested solution:
They can resolve my complaint by not authorizing my account for funds.
Don’t leave hundreds of dollars sitting in an app that’s not even FDIC insured.
If Cash App went bankrupt, out of business, etc. then you risk losing every dollar you had sitting in your Cash Balance because the app offers no FDIC insurance to its customers like an actual bank does.
