My complaint:

On December 20th I used the cash app to send $40 to a friend that needed some money to complete a purchase. My friend did not need the money after all so I requested a refund through the app. I received a text telling me it would not be returned to my bank account on Wednesday the 24th. this was inconvenient but I had no choice. It is now December 28th and they are telling me that it was sent to my bank the minute the refund was requested which my bank has no record of. I have been emailing customer support every day to get this resolved. The only thing that happens is that I have 6 different responses from supposed reps apologizing and telling me that they are the ones who will be taking over for the last guy and then just quote the policy and actually do nothing.

The same thing happened to me. My bank sent them an email letting them know the refund of $100 did not go through and they still won’t refund my money.
