My complaint:
Me and my mom have been scammed over cash app. It started when I was trying to buy something over ebay and they wanted me to pay over cash app the person ended up scamming me so I contacted my bank and sent them all of the information on the conversation that has happened over ebay. Next day my cash app was closed I contacted them about it they never contacted me back. A week has passed since then I got a phone call saying hello this is cash app contacting you about a refund and they said they see that they are supposed to credit me some money so they had me download TeamViewer and they was remote controlling my phone and they asked me to log in my bank and they seen my account had a negative balance and they told me they would have to verify something by having a friend send me money so my mom decided to do it she got TeamViewer on her phone and the guy had her log into cash app then he started sending his account money off of my moms phone and she lost over $1000 my mom was scared to contact cash app so she contacted her bank and her bank decided to remove the credit from her account so she contacted cash app they kept saying your account is closed if you want to withdraw funds this is how she replied saying she don’t care if her account is closed she would like a refund they blocked her email same with mine.
Suggested solution:
First by not blocking our email. Investigate the matter and provide a refund. 3rd stop helping scammers
