My complaint:
I made an order with doordash for the total of $59.61 for an order at Rocco’s New York Pizza on July 3rd, 2020. The restaurant was closed due to COVID, unfortunately. Doordash has sent me a refund receipt and I have multiple transcripts from chats with doordash customer service stating that the refund for the exact amount was issued an processed. That they sent it back to my bank, aka Cash App. I have not received a refund for the amount in almost a month, as today is July 28th, 2020. I have emailed Cash App support and received no support as of yet. It is almost virtually impossible to contact my bank with no live support and no returned emails.
Suggested solution:
Put my money back on my account. Doordash refunded it to me, not cash app's pockets.
Cash App isn’t a bank, so expect to lose more money with future refunds. Let me explain… I had a cancelled order from DoorDash last month. I remember vividly Cash App refunding my Cash Balance the very next day with the amount I paid DoorDash — with no record of the repayment in my transaction… Read more »
Well the thing is, I have always received notifications of funds being refunded and I have notifications on my statement showing money was refunded from a different transaction. Let’s say they didn’t notify me though, I had only $64 and change in my cash app account prior to the $59.61 purchase, I know that it didn’t come back to my account.
