My complaint:
Cash app closed my account after my son requested $50 for his birthday to go out with friends I sent the $50 and denied his request because I already sent the money when I did that they closed my account I called them and the said it was closed due to suspicious activity. I explained to them what happened they told me it would take 30 days. I called after 30 days and he still say the same thing they found suspicious activity when I asked them what was the suspicious activity they could not explain to me what it was. The only thing they said was we cannot reopen your cash app. we can escalate it to our special team and it will take another 30 days. You will be notified through email I called and then they told me it could not be escalated any further and I would have to continue to wait but more than likely the answer will be the same. I explained to them that it was unfair and I have had my Cash App for very long time. I told him I have all of the transactions that come to me and that I send out so I am seeing the same thing they’re saying and I don’t see any suspicious activity. I also explained to them that I do balloon set ups for people and that’s how they pay me i’ve never had a problem before why all of a sudden now it’s a problem.
Suggested solution:
They should resolve it by reopening my Cash app
