My complaint:
I reached out to CashApp for assistance in transferring the money from my old account to a new account I created since I don’t remember my password for my old account. They said I just needed to provide some kidneys information and that this is something that is not new to them so making the transfer would not be an issue. However now they’re saying they can’t even allow me to access my old account even after I offered to share my ID or any other identification to prove it’s my account. My old account has at least $50 which is a month’s worth of groceries for me. They’re not even telling me why they can’t do the transfer and saying they cannot even tell me why, just security reasons even though I have all my identifying information to prove it’s my account.
Suggested solution:
They should do what they originally said they could do which is transfer the money from my old account to my new account.
