My complaint:
Hello my name is Kathy Masters, I have a serious problem with the company known as Cash App. I use a cash app for my direct deposit and debit card services . On July 22, 2021 I received a direct deposit from my work, I owed my two kids some money so I cash appended them both 59.00, a couple hours later I rxr them both to see if they had received the money. One said a year cash app , just you understand you cant talk on the phone with this company everys the other said no so. I have the App app on my phone, I wanted to see if the money had been taken from my account, well there is a button that says cash out I thought it would tell me the money that has gone out of my account, when I pushed the cash out button in two seconds all my money was gone I immediately contacted Cash App to see where all my money went ( 1,019.00 ) customer service informed me it went an account I had linked to cash app I then told whoever I was talking to I had no linked accounts to my cash app, I was told to contact this bankof called First Federal Finance and was given only the last four digits of this debit card my money went to. When I called the bank and explained what happened the women on the phone said she needed an account number and name on the account, I again reached out to customer service ar casd app, Now just so you’re clear on this you can’t talk to anyone on the phone all correspondence is done through text messaging. These people do not get right back to you; it can take hours. When someone finally got back to me I explained I needed the account number and name on the account where my money went. All I got was that was all the information they would give me . I was beginning to get very upset. I wanted to know how and where my money was. They still refuse to give me any answers. All I get is the same bullshit messages. I need to say this again: I have never linked any account of any kind to my cash app. This whole situation has caused me a lot of grief and enough anxiety to kill an elephant. I have missed time from work to try and get these people to hear me. I don’t know where to turn that all the money I have, I need help getting my money back. The cash app refuses to help me in any way.
