My complaint:
I had accidentally sent the same payment twice both transactions were taken from my account but only one was accepted by the recipient, once the first transaction was accepted the recipient deleted the app. I spoke to 3 cash app representatives, the first told me there was nothing they could do, the second was very rude and said that he was sorry my money was lost but their was nothing they could do, the recipient of the money called and the third representative asked for his bank information even though the information was already linked to his account and told him the money was no longer in his account. Due to this miscommunication and unprofessional service my bank account was overdrawn over 900 dollars. When i had asked for a refund through my bank cash app had refused my claim and caused many more overdraft fees on my bank account. When i had requested a refund through cash app it was declined as well although the recipient never declined it themselves.
Suggested solution:
Return the original 800 dollars to my account, and cover the overdraft fees caused by the miscommunication.
