My complaint:
On 262021 I’ve received a text message via cash app 1833-417-2273) at 10:50pm saying Your pin was reset (HOW I NEVER REQUESTED FOR A PIN RESET) so I immediately goes to my cash app as I’m on cash app I see a transaction of $5,000 dollars was transferred to an Forever play name I immediately flagged it as a scam cause I did not authorize this transaction shortly after I’ve reported it I received another txt via cash app (YOUR PHONE NUMBER (585-233-4622) WAS UNLINKED FROM CASH APP ACCOUNT……. NOW IM COMPLETELY LOCKED OUT OF MY ACCOUNT Tryed everything to recover my account my email was unlinked phone number EVERYTHING. So there’s no way I can get into my account what so ever. I went through my email and was able to email cash app right away informing them that my cash app was scammed with and unauthorized payments of the amount of 5,000 the following day witch was 272021 a Sunday I’ve received a email via cash app asking me what was the name of the account I was trying to recovery where the money was taken off my account I provided them with all my information to my account and still yet to respond I don’t even want to deal with cash app anymore I’m late on bills because of this out of food me and my child survive off that money I am so fed up with there poor customer service it’s unfair how can these type of things happen.
Suggested solution:
I will like a refund of 5,000 that’s it I no longer want to have anything to do with cash app
