On September 11, 2020 I was sending a friend $100 to help buy some furniture. When typing in the name I accidentally hit send and sent to another Cash App account. I immediately hit refund to have the user refund the transaction. It has been over a month and the user still hasn’t accepted or refunded my money. The momey was debited from my account yet has been in limbo for over a month. I emailed cash app SEVERAL times and they stated they will not refund the money and that it will stay in limbo till the recipient hits refund. I have done everything cash app requested yet they state if this happens they have no logistical way to help the customer.
