My complaint:

I have had a capital one business credit card for 11 years. In January I was notified that the card was declined because they needed to verify my identity. At first they just needed a picture of my driver’s license which I provided. Then they said they needed a copy of my social security card. . Then they needed a bank statement or utility bill and froze the account so I couldn’t access the reward miles. As I rent, and live in two different locations, it took me a month to get the right statement. In this time, capital one closed the account with 350,025 reward miles. When I pointed out that taking the miles was unfair, they offered me a $100 – which I refused. My advice to anyone who uses capital one is to not trust them to do the right thing – find another card or at least don’t let your miles accumulate.

Suggested solution:

Give me back the reward miles I earned.
