My complaint:
I called Capital One approximately 2 months ago stating I received a text message regarding my account that wasn’t from the bank and express concerns my account may have been compromised. The representative said an attempt was made but not successful. The representative said the account was secure and it was good I changed my password. After work I checked my account to discover someone took $1258.00 was pending,. I called the bank immediately and was told nothing could be done because the transaction was pending. I was eventually given a provision credit while they investigated the fraud. I called to find out why the credit was revolt. Why would they later said the transaction was valid. I explained I was at work that day, I reported I suspected a problem with my account and I never used Western Union, the company revealed from the investigation Capital One wrongfully authorized the withdrawal of my money and want me to pay. Capital One took money that was used for my car note to pay for an unauthorize charge of my money and Capital One failed to provide requested supporting documentation. I want my money back and all fee occurred because of Capital One negelectically authorized withdrawal of my money and refuse to accept responsibility for their wrongful withdrawal.
Suggested solution:
Refund my money and pay for any fee occurred because of Capital One Wrongful authorization
