On 11-05-20 @ the drive thru the Indianola,MS location around 8:30pm and upon receiving my order I requested several ketchup packets for 2 persons. the cashier said that they did not have any ketchup and I asked if I could substitute another condiment sauce and he said no. I advised him it was not my fault that they were out of ketchup and he said in a rude tone–what do you want and I said a honey mustard and bar-b-q-sauce. he said you can have one and the other you will have to pay for. again I had to advise that there were two orders of fries for 2 people. I asked if the manager was in and he said I am the manager and I said I am going to call the customer service line tell them you are out of ketchup and he said I do not care what you do–call them if you want. I was sort of surprised that he said this, but not stunned because the service at this location is poor and has been for a while. this was very unacceptable. I really did feel unappreciated as a customer and a person in general.
drive through service
--should have ordered enough cases of ketchup packets
--once seeing they were low, they should have told the store manager who in turn could have told them to borrow from another BK store OR take the ketchup from the kitchen and put it in the clear plastic sauce containers with lids. These you can get at the dollar tree as well a ketchup and then just hand out until you get ketchup packets.
---to be problem solvers instead of problem starters. charging for the sauce that would have saved the complaint and solved the problem.
----to never say that to a customer about I do not care about you calling corporate, every store has a district manager and an owner and I intend to make sure they know about this if it is not addressed.
thank you so much for your time.
