My complaint:
I, Pierre Francis Njia, British citizen residing in London flew to Douala ( Cameroon) on the 130922 with Brusselsairlines from London.
On the plane to Douala, I noticed a lack of professionalism in your customers services:
During eating time, food ( mash potatoes) was offered to me in which I declined because I have some allergies.
I politely asked the hostess whether someting else can be offered to me as I am on medications, the lady answered:
I was left without food and therefore, I could not take my medications.
However , on my return from Douala to Brussel that was scheduled on the 151022 to arrive the next day ( 161022), my flight got cancelled after we have landed in Yaounde’ due to mechanical problem.
We were given accommodation in various hotels.
still on medications, no food were given to me at the time of the incident nor at my arrival at the hotel ( I arrived at Djeuga Palace at 2am), therefore I was obliged to go to bed without taking my medications.
The next day, I was informed to leave the hotel at 2pm to the airport after lunchtime.
At the airport, we finally took off at around 9pm.
After the flight has taken off, I was offered a sandwich at around 11:30pm.
Unfortunately, I did not eat because of my allergies ( wheat) and the fact that I am a vegetarian ( bread was sandwich with meat); nothing else to eat at that point of time , therefore I missed to take my medications again.
In relation to my complaints that I have raised to you, I hope action will be taken as this has caused stress and anxiety to my health and the cancellation of the flight has impacted on my return to work ( My return to work was on the 17th of October 22).
My old flight number was : SN379 from Douala to Brussels-Airport
My new flight number after cancellation of the first one was: SN1379 from Yaounde’ International airport to Brussels.
I am looking forwards to hearing from you .
Kind regards.
