Booking.com complaint: False Booking ation

My complaint:

We have made a reservation to go to Port Owen Marina Point on 21 January 2023 to 22 January 2023. We have received ation from Booking.com via email together with the receipt of payment made. Just after 14h00 today we phoned the number provided on the email to arrange for the keys, we were advised that we cannot go there, they are fully booked. Bookings.com advised that it was the last holiday home open and we can make the reservation. The lady would have phoned us back after half an hour, it is now already 16h00 and still no feedback. We have also send a whatsapp, which is still unread. This is very UNPROFESSIONAL!!! We have made the booking and paid for it. We need feedback ASAP !!!!!!

Suggested solution:

We have made a booking and paid for it. So either provide the accomodation or refund the amount paid.

ALSO MAKE SURE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO A CLIENT !!!!!!
