My complaint:
The time was around 8 pm CEST yesterday (07.21.21).
The contract was DOGEUSD and the amount was at the top around 135.000 doge, leverage 20X and cross.
I tried a minimum of three times to liquidate the position using the yellow market button next to my position. Clicking this button should immediately liquidate my position to market price. The first time I tried, which was some time (an hour?) before the two other tries (which came right next to each other, right before the liquidation price) and nothing happened.
I had gains between 60-180% all the time between the three times I tried to liquidate the position and I thought I had successfully liquidated it the first time I tried but then I later realized I still had the position in my account.
A little bit later I tried again to liquidate the position at good surplus and I clicked the yellow market sell button twice.
The system would not let me market sell my position. I had a stop loss actice set at the price right above the liquidation price.
Doge went down before I tried to market sell at a surplus, but when that didn’t work I tried one last time the liquidate all positions button. I don’t know which worked but suddenly I got a message saying the stop loss was successfully initiated.
I did not lose all my money so it seems to me that the stop loss avoided liquidation but the real problem here is that the Binance system prevented me to market sell my position to a huge surplus. It should have been sold at market price and instead it went to stop loss.
i have tried to complain to support about it but I need your help.
Suggested solution:
This is unacceptable and I demand my money back from the time the market sell was initiated by me.
