My complaint:

To Whom It May Concerned,

I reserved the room at Best Western Galt Inn at: 620 N Lincoln Way, Galt, CA 95632 for 8/20/2023-8/21/2023. This is the very first time I stay at Best Western in my entire life.

The Disastrous stay resulted in ruined my most important career test.

1. I stayed at room 205 at Best Western Galt Inn, at around 5am’ish, the housekeeper and a man who stayed at the room next door 206 next door started to generate wood pounding sounds constantly. I was woken up at midnight and could not even have a good night rest.

2. I intentionally put the do NOT disturb sign on door knob, as my stay was to attend an important test. Astonishedly disrespectfully, housekeeper factually opened the door and attempted to get in despite do NOT disturb sign on door knob and also safety lock behind door was on, which abruptly disturbed the most important test that was in process and the disturbance was being recorded.

3. I had to abandon the test that was right in the middle which the test can not be stopped and called front desk immediately, NO ONE answered the phone.

4. Then another disastrous disturbance was phone in my room was ringing while I was in the extremely important test which was recorded.

5. I had to abandon the test right in the middle while the test was ongoing and called the front desk.

6. The disastrous stay resulted in ruined my most important career test because of their disrespectful disturbance, which I don’t get a second chance.

This is an extremely important career test, and there is no second chance.

I called Best Western Customer Care and requested a refund, the representative only gave me a number for the request.

This constitutes financial damages as the whole purpose of staying there was to take the important career test which I only have one chance, and the test can not be stopped once started and was in recording.

With 3 times disrespectful disturbance and interruptions during the test within one hour continuously, this is indeed literally the worst hotel experience I ever had in my entire life.

I herein request Best Western to fully refund $87.83 (Eighty-Seven Dollars and Eight-Three Cents). I am also considering other channels to seek compensations.

Suggested solution:

Refund full reservation fees of $87.83 and compensation for disrespectful disturbance resulted in ruined most important career test which was in recording. (Damages compensation of $500.)
