Bell Canada complaint: Was Promised Manual Refund

My complaint:

I had paused my internet service at the cottage in September of 2020. In March 2021, I knew I would not need it as I was no longer working from the cottage. The Bell rep told me to call back when I wanted it resumed. Bell took out payments in July and August, though, not even 6 months later. When I called to complain and to request a refund and to cancel this service, the Bell rep said I would get the refund and that I need to call back in a week and request a manual refund. So I did this. I called to remind them to process a manual refund of $173.39 but this Bell rep said they won’t. I have posted this complaint on complain.biz

Suggested solution:

I would Bell Canada to issue me a refund cheque for the promised $173.39 for overbilling on account 208952487.
