Banfield complaint: charging for xray that is not readable and referring us to go do another xray to er.

My complaint:

Brought our dog to this clinic due to the dog vomiting and possible of eating plastic and was advised at the vet clinic of having to do an xray to check further and when this was discussed , we assured that we get accurate answer and results of the diagnosis of the dog and that the xray would determine the location as well of the plastic and which was then agreed by us to go ahead and complete the xray. After hours later, we received a call to pick up our dog who is ready for discharge and their advise was that the radioligst reviewed the xray however they are unable to determine if the xray shows the plastic or food and recommended that we could take the dog to ER to complete further xray and they then said the bills is $950.00 X ray to the er on same day, same problem and after they completed an xray and charging us that much they want us to do another xray????This is unacceptable to be treating people like this and charging someone this way.

Suggested solution:

refund the money and we could utilize that to get proper diagnosis, prognis, and right treatment and readable xray.
