My complaint:

I was approached by a man named Chase working for ATT while I was grocery shopping at Fry’s. He said that if I signed up with him today that he would give me free new iPhone 12s and would I would still get unlimited calls, texts and data like I had with my current mobile carrier which was Verizon I told him my rate at Verizon is $139.95 every month.. He assured me that my rate would be around the same if not better than what I pay at Verizon per month plus if I signed up with him at that point he would switch out all of our old phones for Free with the new iPhone12s, we would just have to return our old phones in order to not get charged which we did.
So far my bills have been over $60 more per month plus the phones turned out were not free as I am getting charged for them each month as well.
the first bill I received from ATT was close to $459.51. The next bill was 139.42 The next bill was 178.33 The next bill was 193.45 and the estimated bill for this month is going to be 193.45 again.
I told him that we had UNLIMITED everything with Verizon and including talk, messages data and my bill is consistently 139.95 per month and he assured me I would not be paying more than that maybe even less plus I’d be getting the new iPhone 12’s for free. I was lied to about all of my concerns I was fine with Verizon and knew what to expect on my bill. Not even one of bills from ATT have been the same. I get no answers or help from their customer service. They say if I cancel my service I’ll owe them over a thousand dollars to pay back the phones they originally said were free. I can’t afford to pay $200 per month on phones and was mislead, lied to and taken advantage of. Please help. Your time and assistance is much appreciated. Thank you

I would like to cancel my service with ATT and keep our phones they originally said were FREE since we don’t have any other phones. I don’t trust this company and can’t afford the plans they offered. I would like to go back to Verizon were at least I know what my bill is going to be every month and can afford their plans.
