My complaint:
ASAP changed my original ticket to Egypt after Air Canade cancelled it’s flights there. ASAP instructed me to purchas another ticket, on Qatar Airways, advising me that they would refund my original $799 purchase. I am told that, due to technical difficulties, they cannot refund the money on my original VISA card payment. Instead, they wanted to transfer by wire to my vank, for whici I supplied the necessary banking information. NÒW ASAP is refusing to wire send my refund until I sign a waiver! I am in Egypt! I do not have my original booking documents, nor am I able to download their waiver form!
Suggested solution:
Refund the money by either my original VISA card or by wire. ASAP has all of the information to do this! I am far from home and my need the money!
