My complaint:
I went in with 2 rolls of quarters, 2 rolls of pennies and a $20 bill. I asked to have it put into my pump station. I took out the quarters from the roll to help count them to make sure they were correct, but the male cashier said he will not accept my coins. I said why?, it’s still money. He said they don’t need anymore coins and would not take my money. I asked for the manager and he said the same thing. I took down the manager’s name, James, and told him he is not allowed to do that. He asked for my name and start going off about a scenario where I would have to accept change. I said of course I would. I went to the gas station on Century and she accepted my money. I asked her if they were allowed to do that and she said no, it’s still money. If I was a bum on the street who collected enough money to buy food with the change, you cannot refuse service because I’m paying with change. It is illegal and discrimination.
Suggested solution:
I want that cashier and manager terminated for turning down a customer and not resolving the matter appropriately. They are not the owners and even if they were, they are not allowed to behave as they did. They do not deserve to work.
