My complaint:
There is a cashier at an ARCO gas station who is extremely rude, disrespectful, and argumentative. As a regular customer who plays lottery scratchers and purchases gas, I have had multiple negative encounters with this individual. Other employees and mechanics at the station are friendly and provide excellent customer service, so I try to visit when this particular cashier is not on duty. I am a Combat Military Veteran with PTSD, and I find it necessary to avoid confrontational situations.
In a recent incident on 11/20 at around 3:30 PM, I entered the station to buy a scratcher, expecting another cashier to be there. However, this cashier arrived simultaneously and was extremely rude, instructing the other cashier not to serve me and closing the sliding window in my face. Her behavior was so inappropriate that other customers commented on it, expressing their own dissatisfaction with her service.
Another incident occurred a few days later on 11/22, when I went to purchase a drink for my son. Despite my greeting, the cashier ignored me, being preoccupied with her phone. After waiting without acknowledgment, I left without making a purchase and went to a nearby store instead.
I feel compelled to share these experiences as this individual’s behavior is unacceptable for someone in a customer service position. I have sought contact information to report these incidents to management. I recommend avoiding this gas station during her shifts due to the extremely poor customer service provided.
