My complaint:
I’m writing this complaint because on 05/16/23 I had arrived at this ARCO location around 9:15 PM to exchange my scratcher wins and I was told by the gas station worker at the time that scratcher purchases and exchanges stop at 9PM. I came back the next day on 05/17/23 around 8:45 PM and the worker named Ignacio told me that they could not accept my scratcher wins because they stopped scratcher purchases and exchanges at 8 PM. When I asked him why I was told the day before that exchanges stop at 9 PM, he agreed to just cash them out in the moment.
He gave me my wins and put it away quickly because I was trying to find a customer service number to write this complaint. Later on in the day, I went to CVS on Western and Redondo Beach Blvd. In Gardena, CA and attempted to use one of the bills Ignacio gave me for my wins. My bill was rejected by the machine and I realized he had given me a fake $20 bill. So I am reaching out to see if I can have my real $20 bill and to know the real scratcher exchange schedule at this ARCO location. I have included a picture of the fake bill.
Suggested solution:
I would like to be reached out by email so I can have my real $20 bill. I would even provide the fake $20 bill to show that it was not real. Please let me know the best way to solve this.
