My complaint:

Dear Sirs on November 9, 2022, my friends and I were coming home from the Southern Christmas Show and decided to eat at Arby’s on Cox Road in Gastonia, North Carolina. My friend proceeded to the drive thru. Instead of placing 4 separate orders my friend asked if the dining room was open and was told yes. So, we decided to eat inside. There were two other couples sitting at a booth in the back of the restaurant. We were told that the restaurant closed at 9:00 p.m. We each placed our orders. One of my friends went to a table and proceeded to eat. She had finished half of her sandwich when we got our food. Two of us were already seated and starting to eat. The two couples in the back of the restaurant were still sitting down so we figured since they were still there, we could hurry up and eat before we started our trip home. A young guy came from the back and told us that we would have to leave because they were closing. We were astonished. We have never been asked to leave an establishment before. I understand that it was almost closing home but since the other two couple were there we could eat quickly and leave. I am familiar with the food service business in that I worked at Bojangles when I was in high school (1984) I have never told anyone that they would have to leave and yes, we did have people come in at closing time. It is sad that this generation does not like to work but wants to be paid $17.00 per hour. I love Arby’s and I know this is not going to break the bank. I feel that we were discriminated against. I do not have a photo, but I guess we should have taken a photo of us eating outside in the vehicle.

Suggested solution:

Have their employees be take training from Chik Fil A where it is a pleasure serving someone.
