My complaint:
very well designed and run scam using personal information to get some gift cards for a an end of school event. Purchased with Amex @ walmart, realized within 15 minutes that PT barnum was right and contacted apple. Spent over 75 minutes on the phone with apple, they were attentive, polite, courteous, had me review all many times, researched codes, ed, reviewed again, etc… after 74 minutes passed me upstairs where i was informed in politer terms – you screwed. Thank you for calling apple.
Suggested solution:
while the error was mine, it was caught almost immediately - reported immediately, etc. If they had stated - your a grown ass man and should know better sorry - i would have taken my lumps , lost my $$ and 45 seconds of my time. But after over an hour and 15 minutes - strictly for their benefit apparently, perhaps an offer to match the card value or part of the value in my itunes account, or some renumeration which doesn't really cost them squat would have been a better resolution.
