My complaint:
THIS Aldi store changed their store closing time to 8pm CST.
Twice now at this particular store, when I walked in just a few minutes before closing time, an employee has pointed out, We close in xx minutes.
The first occurrence was mid-November, 2022. The employee saw me walk in, looked at his watch, then announced, Ma’am, we close in 7 minutes.
Well, today, Jan. 3, 2023, a cashier yelled across the store, We close in 5 minutes!!.
Is this customary practice for your stores? The front door was not locked, so clearly I entered before closing time. And if I’m not mistaken, they can’t refuse service just because I enter the store a few minutes before closing.
I have never had a store clerk so rudely point out, in front of other customers, how disgruntled they were upon my arrival. AND NOW IT’S HAPPENED TWICE, AT THE SAME STORE!!
Suggested solution:
Communicate appropriate employee behavior to ALL employees at ALL its stores.
Corporate should provide an apology for it's employees' rude behavior.
