My complaint:

Signed up in Feb 2019 for a Bank of America (Alaska Air) credit card. The add stated we would receive 40,000 bonus miles. Trying to save enough miles so we can visit our new granddaughter in Florida. The Covid 19 lockdowns began in March 2020. We were not able to travel during 2020 through August 2021. Today I checked our mileage balance and saw we no longer had 40,000 . I called customer services and was told these miles had expired after March 20, 2020; One week after the Covid 19 lock downs started. This is a terrible and unfair way to treat your customers. I was told I could not get this mileage returned. I then checked December 2020 balance; I had 868 miles; one month later ; January 2021 another 671 miles expired. I am thinking Alaska Airlines and Bank of America have pulled a SCAM on the public.

Suggested solution:

Please answer me and credit my account with 40,671 miles.
