Air Transat complaint: Change of dates

My complaint:

I booked a trip to PVR from YUL from Dec 26 to Jan 9. The airline changed the dates to Dec. 24 to Jan 7. The say that since they sent an email to me in May with the changes that I had 14 days to change the flight without paying. I just discovered that the email was sent to my junk mail, so I never saw it. They want me to pay over 300 dollars per ticket to change the departure to Dec 28. To make matters worse, it always takes 2-3 hours to speak to someone at customer service.

Suggested solution:

Let me change my departure date to Dec. 28 (instead of Dec. 24). I want to keep the same date to return (Jan 7).

Since I would be freeing up 4 tickets on Dec. 24, I am sure that Transat will make a lot of money selling them, and they don't need to squeeze extra money out of me.
