My complaint:
After almost a year of trying to get my outside lights turned back on, I was told many things. 1st. Work order Have 6 months good credit. I did that. 2nd work order. Told they couldn’t access the property. You have your own lock on my gate. 3rd work order. Cant access with their trucks. Umm how did AEP replace all the old poles?. 4th work order cant contact anyone. Gave 2 numbers for contact. Was told 1 to 2 weeks. After a month, still no one. So yes, I got aggravated, nasty and never threatened anyone harm. Then on a day in February, a tech shows up, let himself on my property and assessed the problem. I recorded our interactions with a dash cam AND cell phone in my coat pocket. We talked for almost 20mins, he shock my hand, I invited him to stay FREE at my campground. He returned and said I threatened him. This is an outright lie. And have videos to prove otherwise. Then I recieved 2 letters. One stating a police escort will come to my property and I had threatened your employees. How awful to treat customers this way. So, for almost a year ARP didn’t get money for outside lights because your employees lied. I have given my Attorney the videos and we are considering litigation against AEP. Your lock has been removed and you will need police esort, contact my Attorney and myself present for any further work. I will be bringing a lawsuit against AEP in the near future for this.
Suggested solution:
It's too late for that. After being told I threatened an employee, which I've VIDEO proof I did not. He outright lied. I will sue your company for this treatment. I was even told by your people to put up my OWN lights. Really? So I did. Solar. And will be going totally off the grid by winter. Guess they dont need me to pay them. They'll pay me.
