My complaint:
Please let people know it is a scam.
Wish deserves no trust from all the people that download it, thinking it will make their lives easier. Instead, it leaks your information and doesn’t even allow you to delete your account after you’ve been scammed.
TL, DR
1. it ASKS FOR Driver’s License and BANK STATEMENT to verify your identity
2. Wish support does not reply to you if you call them out for their scams. It ignores you and does not refund anything.
3. It does not let you delete your account. whether you ask support nicely or you deactivate it yourself, you can always log back in with ease.
1. It asks for your DRIVER’S LICENSE to verify your identity. As in, it turns on your camera and asks for pictures of the front and back. If you do not comply, it refuses to let you buy things until you do.
2. It asks for BANK STATEMENTS also to verify your identity; same as the driver’s license.
3. If you ask support about anything, they only reply to what is convenient for them and ignore all other questions. I asked them why they wanted my bank statement and driver’s license to see if it was normal to do so, and they never replied.
4. They don’t let you delete your account. I deactivated my account but was still able to log back in as if I have never pressed the deactivate button in the first place. If you ask support to kindly delete your account because of this, they refuse to even answer to it. So you’re stuck with a sketchy wish account that you don’t even want. I deactivated my account 5 times in one day.
Suggested solution:
GIVE ME A REFUND AND LET ME TALK TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP WITH A BRAIN!
