My complaint:
I had a package delivered by Hermes 8735970418312482
I contacted them regarding item missing this is reply.
Good Afternoon Paul,
Thank you for getting in touch with your enquiry.
Our courier has ed that your parcel was delivered on 06012021 10:20, and was left at the front of your car.
Our courier is now aware that this is not a compliant delivery and he will be very careful with future deliveries, he understands that this was not an agreed safe place delivery location and that leaving it here may have resulted in the parcel being lost.
I’ve checked this against our system, (which tracks the location of the courier via GPS) and this shows they were on the customers street at the time of the delivery attempt.
I understand how frustrating this will be for you and for your customer and I am really sorry that this situation has occurred. I deem this parcel to be lost.
I’m truly sorry this situation has occurred, and I want to support you by advising you of the speediest course of action to resolve it.
Please contact YDH Express and let them know whether you would prefer a refund or replacement.
I can assure you this is not the norm as we usually deliver over 1 million parcels successfully, every day.
