My complaint:
I have ONLY donated to Winred back in 2020. I ONLY donated ONCE. Winred is the ONLY company that had my phone number and email address.
I never was spammed by politics before I donated to Winred. ALL the numbers these texts are coming from are free internet numbers you can get from Google.
They get the free number, add the number list, then spam the whole list and THEN, delete the account.
I have tried the “stop” command. 80% do not respond because the Google number is immediately deleted.
This is obviously going to cause a lot of work to get a new number and change my number for my contacts.
They MUST BE STOPPED. Winred is selling numbers to these spammers, so more people are directed to Winred. It IS Winred who is trying to deflect the blame to the spammers.
It is possible that Winred itself is getting these Google numbers and sending out these messages.
How many complaints is it going to take to stop them.
Suggested solution:
Contact the Attorney General of the state Winred works out of and file a complaint for all the complaints received.
