My complaint:
On July 20, 2020 I donated $20 in addition to my monthly $20 donation to the WINRED website. On that day 07202020 it was a triple match for every donation and for any amount you donate. So, I donated $20 for a triple match of $60, however they took out $200 times three which equaled $600!! I filled out the form for a refund on the WinRed website (several times!) only to get back each time a text stating they’d get back to me. The way they got back to me was via email saying they’d investigate the issue and get back to me…CRICKETS!!! As of today, August 9, 2020 it’s still….CRICKETS!!!
I am a retired disabled citizen who can NOT afford $600 taken out of my VISA debit card issued to me by the state for my disability.
Suggested solution:
Refund the $600.00
They made a recurring donation when I put a one time donation. I noticed the “recurring donation” switched when I put one time donation. You cannot reach them without them wanting last 4 digits of your credit card. I’m livid!
