My complaint:
Nowhere on the donation sheet was a statement that my $25 was a recurring donation. Gave $25 but my bank statement said it was a recurring. They are not authorized to withdraw any funds from my account. Only place that the scam might appear was in “pay the handling charges,’ and when I said OK, that could be interpreted as an authorization.
Had same problems with them in the past. Thought I had avoided a rerun – but, if need be, the scam will go to court.
Suggested solution:
Remove the recurring authorization immediately. If it happens again, I’ll sue them for fraud.
