My complaint:

On Saturday April 1st, 2023 I went to Winn Dixie on Chaffee Road to shop for groceries. When I got back to the deli they had oven gold turkey for $8.99 lb. There were two ladies working in the deli. One was making pastries and the other one was boxing up chicken. I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for one of them to acknowledge my presence. After 5 minutes I waved my hand to get their attention. The lady preparing the pastries who was the closest of the two looked up and acknowledged me. We made eye contact and she continued with her pastries. The lady boxing the chicken then looked my way and I waved at her. She nodded her head and said the other lady would be take care of me. After waiting another five minutes and being the only customer waiting I started feeling that I was being ignored. I asked the pastry lady if she could help me and she said the other lady would be able to help me. At this point I became frustrated and asked the lady boxing the chicken if I could see the supervisor and she replied I am the supervisor. I then asked if I could see her supervisor and she replied she’s out there somewhere. At this point I decided to just leave the store.
I went home and thought about the lack of service and the way I was treated. I don’t think that I was being unreasonable, but I felt very disrespected.

Suggested solution:

I am bringing this situation to the attention of Winn Dixie. My only suggestion would be for the company to emphasize better customer service. I left there and went to Publix and paid $2 a pound more for the same turkey but was treated with respect.
