My complaint:

One shelf had multiple items labeled Buy One Get One, Mix and Match, Equal or Lesser Value. On the shelf were various baked goods (turnovers, biscuits, croissants) with different prices, all Winn Dixie Brand, all labeled Mix and Match, Equal or Lesser Value. However, the only mixing and matching allowed was apparently within the categories of croissants and turnovers, etc. This is terrible labeling, completely misleading. The entire purpose of specifying equal or lesser value and mix and match instructs the customer to pick from the offerings on the shelf and not worry about them being exactly the same thing. THAT’S WHAT IT MEANS TO MIX AND MATCH.

Suggested solution:

They should never put two products side by side on a shelf, labeled Buy one get one, Mix and Match, equal or lesser value if you AREN'T ALLOWED TO MIX AND MATCH THE ITEMS OF EQUAL OR LESSER VALUE.

They should change this deceptive labeling practice. If the only thing you can get the deal on is an identical item, it should say IDENTICAL ITEM ONLY.

Truthful labeling is not hard.
